How long are my spokes?
OK, so I got a really really really good deal on some alloy rims for my GS1000ST, 2.5 x 18 front and 3.5 x 18 rear "T" style rims, and I'm gonna lace them up to a pair of 1979 GS750E hubs. I can buy stainless steel spokes from the same supplier, but he wants to know the spoke length? Anyone know? Cheers, Terry. :twisted:Tags: None

No real answer for ya, but a custom bike shop might be able to figure it out- I have had some weird combo's on some of my old Harley's and they always made them work so I'm guessing that there are specific measurements and a formula that can be used. Funny thing- not two days ago the thought of getting rid of my mags in favour of spokes crossed my mind! As usual good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks Wayne, and don't buy any rims yet, if these ones are any good I can buy plenty more, at unbelieveable prices! Cheers, Terry.
