Try Ebay for some examples and prices. Also check out Craig Vetter's site at https://www.craigvetter.com. Also check out https://www.denniskirk.com . Lots of good examples there.
I personally love my Vetter Windjammer IV.

I'm using a Vetter Sting on my 80 GS1100E it is perfect they were made in 1984 by the company that bought Vetters name from Bell. I do not have a picture of it on the bike. The fairing was made for the square headlight. I got it off of ebay. I waited 6 months for it to show up and one did I got it for $15. check out http://www.xz550.com/art.html there is a sheet with installation instructions that has a drawing

There's a Maier fairing made for the sqaure headlights.

Omar has a couple of the most beautiful quarter fairings out there, but they're for round (but he has them for bigass 8" headlights). I use a Wes Cooley rep and it works great, but it's round.

Solosuzuki (Claude), in Montreal, made a very cool quarter fairing for his '82 E by paring down a clunky frame-mount GS1150ES fairing. I wonder if you could try the same approach with a bigger touring fairing?

Anyone using a rifle sport fairing? It's a nice looking unit, but how does it work?

            Who (or what!) is Omar.
Are the 8" headlight fairings the Wes Cooley type?
I've seen them on eBay, but have never been successful in bidding for one (yet!!)

He's got some beautiful stuff on there.
But he doesn't do what I'm looking for. I want the Wes Cooley fairing, but for the large Suzuki "searchlight" headlamp

I have an aftermarket Wes Cooley and had to cut down the headlight well to fit the 8? headlight. It worked fine. I got my fairing from a salvage yard ? don?t know who made it or when. www.airtech-streamlining.com has a Wes Cooley fairing, but I don?t know if the well is deep enough to cut it down for an 8? ? it probably is, though.
