They there everyone,
So I got my GS850 all torn apart and I have my imagination running wild. Im a 1st time bike owner so I might be getting to far ahead of myself trying to customize my ride already... that said, Im wondering if anyone has installed a Mustang Gas Tank on the GS's? The little research that Ive done, It appears my bike will my to be a modified for proper installtion and mounting?!? Ive found 1 pic from google of a GS850 that has been chopped with such a tank. The pic gave their bike a nice look. Im not sure if its a custom tank or if its a "off the shelf" tank.
Okay I will stop rambling now and get to my point.
Has anyone done such a mod? If so do you have any pics? How much fab/mod work needs to be done to install it properly? Im a little afraid to order/bid on one through ebay and have it NOT work on my bike. Ive ask the seller of one of the tanks if he thinks it will fit and they will not guarentee it.
