I too am interested in the pods on that bike. It'd be nice to know of a source that wasn't over $150 for four little filters. I mean at that price I'm considering creating my own.

One of my favorite bikes on the forum. The yellow wires just make it stand out so much.

Is the front fender stock, or did you paint it that way?

Chazz, that's a beautiful bike, but get the 90 degree ends of those plug wires on the plugs so they're not hangin' out so far. I switched mine around on a Kaw KZ I once had, & they looked a lot better. My opinion, but they're not only longer (more resistance between coil & plug) but they tend to get in the way or worse, snag on something.

I just have a hunch you'll like it better, too.

                    Are those Accell wires/coils?

first off sorry i took so long to reply back, second those pods are k&n they come 2 per box and thats all you need, they ae still 150 bucks no way around it. if you want them just go to k&n web site and look up a 82 gs550mz that will give you the model number.

the fender is oem painted thats the way it came in 81

only when you clean her up, strip her down and make her purdy then it will count...... maybe for now just a wash would be a good start. you are almost there, i hope to see a awsome beast this spring.
