    Waxing

    Hi all,

Just for those who dont already know, and for those who have repainted their tanks, and complain of the paint being messed up by gas.

Its probably a good idea to use carnauba wax (after you polish it) on the tank. if you do 3 or 4 layers of carnauba onto your tank, it will look better slightly, but the water will run right off it, and gas wont reach the paint if it spills on it.

    Ditto that.
Carnuba is sometimes hard to find these days...but well worth it.
