Gus, That is a seriously good looking machine. You should consider submitting it for bike of the month, it's that nice. Ray"Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded" -Yogi Berra

Originally posted by Billy RicksIt does pretty well though never dynoed. The head is fairly fresh and has had some porting and all new valves. Right now just bolt ons other than that. A stainless Duplex that was built for somthing like a '91 GSXR. I've got Cosworth pistons that will go in sometime this year I hope. I have a 750 crank and rods that will get the 50cc back. I'll send the crank for lightening. The pistons were a problem getting rings for. They are a never used set of protoypes an aold friend of mine had. I had to have the top two grooves recut and Total Seal provided a set of their Gapless rings. I have a set of V&H cams for it as well. First comes another round of suspension work.
Sounds an exciting project I'd be keen to see how you progress, just one thought have you upped the brakes? I think you'll be able to go a whole lot faster with the mods ... maybe port the head too when the roof is off?

Head was taken care of by a guy that used to race for Yoshimura. I have a couple of other heads I could put together and have done. I've got '90 GSXR wheels and brakes with PFM iron rotors up front in an '88 fork. I'll be switching to a '95 front in CBR954 clamps. The top clamp is stepped so you pick up nearly an inch in length. I have a Works Performance shock for the rear to install when I do the front. Just waiting for the headlight brackets to arrive and still need to get a fender. Next week I may find the time to work on it. The motor work may have to wait until next winter.

OH Yes!
This sounds pretty tasty, there is something quite special in "doin' up" old Suzuki metal in todays clothing! just goes to show you though, how much or little depending on your point of view has really changed....
Any pics you can post?

Another pic when it had GSXR rotors up front.
The canister was from a GSXR, not sure what year anymore. The header and midpipe was from the last air/oil cooled model 750, '91 or '92. I just needed a can with a 2" inlet so model wasn't important. It's an RS-3.
