Old meets new. My '79 750 with a twist.

This is kind of what I picture my 79 750 looking like when I'm finished with it. I was bored today and started playing with photoshop. I was inspired by MV. Tell me what you think.

It's a 600rr tail section, KTM Duke swing arm and forks, clipons from a race bike, modded headlight, an 1100GK tank, and a 750 motor/frame.

I've actually already bought the rear end off a Honda Hurricane 600. I think I want gixxer forks too.

Hey fat_sac, That bike would be drop dead gorgeous. To quote the movie, if you build it, yahta, yahta, yahta. We'll enjoy watching the progress. Color choice tangerine orange metallic. Ray

Thanks man. I put my F4i in the paper yesterday to raise the capitol to start this project. I paid cash for that bike, so I'll have a nice load of cash to start with. I'll start posting pix in a couple of weeks hopefully.

I checked out that web site. Those reflective flames are nuts at night. Might look at putting some of those on my F4i.

Man that is a good looking bike! Prefer the black. Perhaps a charcoal would look good with that silver motor.

I think I prefer teh black too. Some of those elements from old and new came together nicely huh? I'm thinking maybe charcoal metallic. I'm wondering what it'd look like with a colored tail. Everything else black and silver.

silver motor and swingarm, black headers ~ alloy muffler, charcoal body work, frame bead blasted then clear coated over bare metal, silver 'SUZUKI' on the fuel tank. What do you think?

IMHO? This thing painted like that? Is gonna be a show stopper. One of a kind. I've had this in my head for almost two years now and have ot build it so I can move on. It's clogging my creative patterns, lol. I'm half tempted to leave the badging off totally though. On the other hand, no one is gonna know what it is anyway, so badging may not be a bad idea. Still undecided there. Maybe the chrome stickers of an SV?

I think just the chrome raised "S" from the Suzuki cars is the ticket.
