I have a small problem, or a big one depending on your point of veiw! I have a 82 gs1100L that I'm selling to a friend but he is uncomfortable with the stock seat because he is not a small person. Who makes a good aftermarket seat that is a little wider and will fit my friends ample butt?

I had a similar problem . but mostly with the long range comfort of my GS850G's seat.
Changed to a Diamond seat. They get your dimensions (weight and inseam) and taylor the seat to you. The foam is mixed to your spec .
My wife and I put a lot of 2 up miles on this seat and I have to say that it was a grat investment ($400).
Look up Diamond seats in the back advertising section of the MC mags.
