    Polish Rear Sprocket?

Got a new rear on the T today. Took the whole wheel off as I don't trust the dealer with my baby. C. S. HiMax as it was all they had in my size, and I didn't feel like waiting. For $65, I'm not complaining.

Anyway, I'm cleaning up the wheel as it's raining here, and I polished the rear drum brake cover.

Has anyone polished the rear sprocket? I seem to remember a picture of Hoom's rear wheel all polished up, and I think I saw that the sprocket was polished as well.

Any reason this would be a bad idea?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Polish away.I've done it to the sprocket on my PM wheels because the wheels are too.

Silly me, I thought this thread would be about a Polish rear sprocket (rather than Japanese).

I ride, therefore I am.... constantly buying new tires.
