E badges on an L Bike?
I like the look of the E side cover badges better than those that came on the L... the ones that are silver and have the GS1100 DOHC 16 valve info. The Ls just say GS1100L in cursive.

If not, just JB Weld in the old holes and drill new ones (as long as the old holes don't show at all).Currently bikeless

They are both fruit, but vastly different.

Edit: Oh, and Jethro, thank you. I'm going to get this painted anyway so jbwelding and drilling new holes doesnt sound like a bad idea. Cheers

You guys are acting like I'm pulling a fast one. LOOK:
I don't see anything that says E. I see a badge that says GS1100, DOHC 16 Valves. I have a GS1100, with Dual overhead cams and 16 valves.

We are just fooling with you... if it makes you happy, then who cares what everybody else thinks? Most people who see your bike won't have a clue.2010 Honda VFR1200F

My apologies. I had to research and sure enough you do have 16 valves.
I never realized that they put the 16 valver in a "cruiser" frame.
Always thought they were 8 valves.

The mounting pins are closer together on the e. You will have to drill new holes or use 3m double sided tape, make sure you get any wax off first in the area you put the emblems(alcohol swab). As for the old holes you can dab a touch of body putty (comes in a tube not bondo) in the holes let it dry good it will probably shrink a bit do it again then get a tube of touch up paint.

Speaking of cool, go to the "old bike barn" and pickup an Indian emblem, the one with the head of the indian with war dress, and stick that to the fuel tank. That will blow everyone's mind.
