    A pic of my '80 GS1100E

Whaddya think? I've since taken the rear carrier off and sandblasted the 'LASER' off the pipe (it needed some welding anyway). I'll try and upload a current photo later...

      Looks...

      8-) !!

I think losing the "laser" was the right thing. To "in your face" for me.

The rack, you may miss it? Are you selling it?

Not sure, its great for carrying stuff and has an adjustable backrest that slides all the way up for a solo rider or to the rear for a passenger. My wife LOVED it after years on the back of the Katana....

          Sweet looking E dude!

Yup, ditch the "Laser" it looks cheeseball. You can buy replacement exhaust canister decals from most all performance exhaust mfg's. Pick one you like and slap one on. (an old school Vance and Hines supersport decal would look great IMO!

            After Photo...

You can see where the can was crimped a little from being in the vice - oh well... The header is ceramic and it sounds meaty for sure...

Looks good. I didn't care for the oversize LAZER lettering, either.

I don't notice the crimp too much. It really looks good man.

Still, I liked it better with the LASER still on the side but then again I am a badge kind of guy

Looks really clean without it too. As long as it is till functional and you didn't break any welds
while vising it then your set mate

badges, somebody had to say it

Hoomgar replies: But then again I am a badge kind of guy

                  gsgeezer observes:

My kerker is currently without it's badge. That is the second one that jumped ship, so I left it for now. I might fill the now empty mounting holes with hi-temp epoxy....
