Some of them forward controls would set off an "L" nicely. I got to save a few bills and get some! Ron Bayless you are the one making those right?

Man, where is the love.
I've never owned, or been interested in any type of 'custom' bike ever, till I saw my gs(x)750L , and the moment I saw it I thought, now that's a good looking bike!
The shape of the tank, that big fat engine stuffed in there, it's brilliant.
(course, I'm gonna change a few bits :-D )

Well, I was not trying to offend anyone with the mods I made to "my" bike. This is an appearance modification thread though, so you have to be expecting to see some things you may not like. The reason I want to change fenders is that I would like to see my chrome fenders go to a needy home, rather than paint them. I understand that some like the look of the chrome. I personally do not. The bike was given to me, so I was not picky, knowing that I could change it into what I want. If I were to sell the bike, I would get something newer, like an SV650. I can't afford a new bike right now, so a hundred bucks on a fender is a cheap way to get me closer to what I like. That being said, anyone out there looking for a decent set of chrome fenders for an 82 650GL? PM me, and we can try to work something out.

Any chance they'd fit a 79 GS425? I sure like me some chrome fenders, and man, am I a needy home! PM me if you think it might work - I've been researching that and am more confused than when I started!
