    Speedy,

What mufflers did you use? Are those clamed on to the stock pipes? I am making a bit of a bobber myself and need to replace my muffs. I still need to work out how I am going to do the seat, I think that is the biggest headache for me, at least if I want it to look good. I think I am going to get some 11" shorty shocks for a CB750 to lower the rear and use a Harley bobtail style fender for the rear. Currently I have no front fender, love the look but that will change once the weather gets wetter. I saw some floorboards for a GS1000 on Ebay, but got outbid because I was at work, but maybe I will try to make some.

Anyone else got pics of bobbed GS's? I need some ideas.

Hi, the mufflers are those "universal megaphone" mufflers on ebay, 50$ each, not the shorties. Then I gutted them so it was basically just an open can(all you do is remove 3 screws) and I made my own glasspack inner core, and and got glass packing and packed around the core. Kinda hard to explain, but its fairly easy if you can get ahold of the "holed" metal for the core. Wow, does it sound wicked though. Just really mean. Heres an old picture, give you an idea of the inside. As for the seat, my seat is accually stock foam and frame, just cut it down, and made my own seat covor. Good luck!-darren

is that your bike? did you modify the stock frame or buy a new one from somewhere? What kind of rear fender is that, and or where did you get it? What color of blue is that?Maybe it would be easier for you to offer the details of your bike if you want.Please.
