I'll say it again, that is one of the nicest, most tastely done GS1100's I have ever seen.

I like the gold chains, have one on the Bandit, its grown on me.

Incredible man. So clean. Do you know off hand if '82 GS1100 body parts and fuel tank will fit on an '80 GS1100 frame?

I do. Unfortunately they won't without a lot of modification. The frames are the same basic geometry, but the rear tank mounts are different, the seat mounts differently, the side panels mount differently and the rear cowl mounts differently.

i'm getting used to the bling factor, i think the next step would be to install a chandelier in the garage. :-D

Thanks man. That does suck 'cause I really like the way that body looks. So now let me ask would a '80 GS1100 engine fit nicely in an '82 GS1100 frame? I just got this bike and I have SO much work to do. Just trying to get an understanding of compatibility issues with other years/makes. Thanks!
