Ok, I've looked all over the forums and can't find an answer. My gas tank has some rust right around the top of it around the gas cover. Does anyone know where I can purchase a gas tank cover that is black that would cover that area up? Preferably one that is made to protect from gas spills?

Never seen a gas tank cover on a GS. If the tank is rusting, you better take care of that before putting a cover on, but I'm sure you know that.
I'd bet you need to make your own, which shouldn't be that hard, or have a good auto interior shop make one for you.Currently bikeless

Some of the GS family had a cover over the gas cap.
Maybe that's the cover involved?
Like someone we knows GS400X

most GS's just have a locking cap...my gs400X had a gas cap cover...Comment
