    What I also remember, and have yet to figure out, is the "oval" tires. I think they were Firestone, "Wide O Oval" tires. It said that right on the side wall. I couldn't see it. They looked round to me.

      Yep Firestone Wide Ovals were really popular thing back then. The name was pretty ridiculous wasn't it

        What did it mean? Where was the oval? The contact patch?
