              Re: the "Gadgets" I hope you aren't putting me on with your question. I'll treat it as though you're serious.
              ...the black thing is a fork brace, for lack of a better name. It ties the two sliders together and makes the front end more rigid. The "shiny thing" is the brake caliper that pinches the disc to stop you.

                Nope, I was serious :/ Don't have a fork brace on either of my two bikes. The caliper just looked weird to me I guess It looks nice shiney!
