Delivery man just dropped off a gift....

First motorcycle part I've ever bought as a gift for my wife....!!

It's got some scuffs and will need to be painted, but it's in great shape for something that's been sitting on a shelf since its manufacturer's tag from May 1983!!!

I told the missus it was for her, and she fell for it!!! \\/

Okay, not really - but It was a bit spendy and I had to put a positive spin on it... I'm just a wh0re for NOS aftermarket parts for this bastard - only other '83 owners can understand! Now I've got a transformer Zook - two sets of bodywork, two seats and a sissy bar, plus adjustable clip-ons. Dropped bars, cafe seat, cowl, and scoop for the canyons, high bars, ES fairings with full lowers, soft luggage, and a passenger-biased custom seat for two-up touring. It's like having another bike with an hour's worth of work. I'm shooting for February BOTM with transposed photos.... Just gotta get her put back together, and get the lowers painted to match...

Maybe I'll pull the other frame down from the rafters and set 'em both up, eh?

I'll post some photos when I get the rack installed. I watched this SOB for over a week until I had the cash - surprised it didn't get snatched up. Patience pays, it seems!

New I couldn't be the only one!

I've threatened submitting for BOTM for the last year now - if I can just keep my hands off the thing long enough to actually take some photos, maybe I'll actually stand a chance!
