Yup. Really looking forward to it. It'll be a first for me, Never been to the Joe before. Been to plenty of AHL games (got the griffen's here in GR) but this is my first NHL game. Woot!

If I can make a recommendation, don't try to park at the Joe. Go to a bar and take a shuttle. If you're not familiar with the area you can get kinda screwed.
Nemo's Bar is at Michigan near Trumble (right off 75 and Lodge area), right by the old Tiger Staduim. Cool bar and it has two shuttles that I think only cost $2 per person. It is about a 5 minute ride to the Joe.
Where you sittin? I'm right next to the visitors prenalty box.

My buddy has the tix, He actually got them free from work. I guess his Co. has season tickets in a couple of sections. One is behind the Wings' bench and the other is on the glass at mid ice. Not sure where we'll be. We're gonna take the ppl mover from greektown. We're goin to dinner first, then to the game.

I was sitting behind the bench two weeks ago, I also have a friend who's company has seats there. They are pretty great seats. Hearing the players when they get off the ice is cool. It adds a whole new dimension to the game.
Greektown is a good choice, and there are a lot of great places to eat (Pegasus and Hellas come to mind). If you've never ridden the people mover before, get ready for a treat. I'm not much of a gambler, but for what it's worth I think Greektown has the best casino.

Yahoo! I FINALLY found the signals I've been looking for. Ever since I saw Keith's thread here
I have been looking for these blinkers. Here's the EBAY link
Unfortunately, I only found the single filament ones. I was hoping to go with a dual filament in the front, I would really like to have some running lights, but maybe I can scrounge the MRO crib at work, and come up with something...

Nice find on those signals. They are along the same line that I am looking.

Ya, just got em today. Mine are definitely cast aluminum. I think they are probably clear coated, and they're from EMGO, so I was not surprised to see the quality (or lack thereof) of the polishing.
I'm kinda bummed about the whole deal tho. Did some searching on the internet, and EMGO offers them in their 2007 catalog. Oh yeah, they also have a dual filament set-up.
Here is a link to their catalog
Note: Its a PDF, and It might take a while to load. Anyway the part number is 61-75661. Listing starts on page 70. Anyone interested in a set of amber, single filament signals? I think I'm gonna call my dealer, and see if he can get me a set of dual filaments.

I am a little worried that all these aftermarket directionals are so much smaller than stock. Is that safe and inspectable?

I'm in MI, Don't need no stinkin inspection. The signals I bought are actually pretty good sized. They look to be about 3.5 Inches long, and about 1.5 inches wide. Big or small, people ain't gonna see the signals. Fer cripes sake, they miss the whole bike plus rider!!! Actually, I know light attracts the eye, and moving lights are even better. But, no, I am not concerned that people are not going to see these signals. They are the same wattage as the stock ones (same brightness) and the bulbs really are not that much smaller.
