Well since I'm waiting for some primer to dry and I've got about 4 cups of coffee in me , i thought i'd see if the new 3gig bps dsl kicked in yet. It seems a blur of motion on my monitor but that could be because my eyes haven't focused yet. Lets hope this damn thing doesn't freeze up and crash anymore.
Anyway i thought I'd weigh in on the "isaac has an ugly bike" debate as i found it funny as h*ll the first time I read it.
Make no mistake issac, i'm on your side, at least more so when you had the dresser fender on the back , but thats another issue. Now unfortunately you do have an ugly seat, of this I am certain. The shapeless blob comment had me rolling. but enough of remarks as i'm sure you get the picture.
Now the "Mad Max" approach you've taken should work and its an interesting concept. I'd go with it as its not been done to often and could work well. I would say however that even a rat bike can be done right. Why do you think they wank 50k for the one you had pictured. My advice is that you may be going too fast to finish the concept without paying attention to the details.
You know, little things like bondo on the side of the tank where the suzuki badge was. Maybe a stubby fender etc....
Anyway i liked the dresser fender and I'm sure I'll like the new concept as well. My 2 cents. And please keep us posted as to the progress. We all like a rebel in action.Last edited by Guest; 02-26-2007, 12:12 PM.

Isaac: I dig the bike. Keep it up. It's like functional sculpture.
KGB: You do tend to speak with a forked tongue - IMHO
Uncle Mike & Miss Fabulous: You two are a riot - Get a room! LOL

I really like the front end and the lowered rear. I think when I move and get the new garage setup I will grab another set of 11" shocks for this bike and see how they go.
I liked the original fender you had, if you want to let it go send me a PM with a price and I may take it off your hands for experimental purposes

My wife really likes Suzuki's M50LE, with a duck tail, Harley looking fender. I got to admit that I like it too.

At the risk of bringing a topic from the dead with this post....Issac i like where you are going with your bike. I had the exact same sort of idea in my head for my GS1100G. However im going about the rear in another way by changing seat styles mostly...I have been looking at some of the airtech tails and some of them have integrated fenders as part of their design.
Heres one style of tail i think would set your bike off nicely in the rear
