    Billet Headlights anyone?

Since I am currently in carb hell I find myself drifting off to thoughts of appearance while waiting for my jet plugs to come in.

I was looking at the nifty chrome billet headlights. I aqm using 39mm harley directional relocation clamps to put these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...6968&rd=1&rd=1 on my tubes.

My current headlight brackets are only fit to be sanded and painted which I would rather not do so I was thinking of using some universal chrome mounts (I cant find any in 37mm) like http://www.oldbikebarn.com/part.php?...layPerPage=100

But while on the search for 37mm clamps I saw the billet headlights. I would love to clamp one of those suckers on the tipple tree but I cant think of where to stash the rats nest currently hidden in the headlight bowl. Anyone use anything like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Harle...mZ280088224345

Of course right now I should be more worried about checking out MORE mech issues but one can only take so much at a time

Something to consider. IMHO nothing lights up a road on a moonless night out in the sticks like a halogen incandescent and a BIG reflecter. Yes, thats a beautiful housing but, before I spent those kinds of bucks I'd want to know it did its job of lighting the road better than my original.

Then I'd be worried about the awesome task of lengthening and shortening the wiring harness nest to fit under the tank so I could just run power leads to my new light.

Yea I was worried I would have to screw with a whole lot of wires to get that puppy on. Guess I will just keep on searching for brackets for now

Here you go, but you'd have to get the bushings for these. Does seem like alot of work though

when you can just do this instead

If the response on your order from Bella Corse is a bit slow right now, be patient. He had a flood or something at his house & is pretty tied up.

Stand-up guy that will take care of you though. I've dealt with them for parts for my Triumph & never had a problem.
