    1980 GS250T to a metric cruiser

started with a 1980 GS250T that i picked up for $650.00 to learn on...

but i still needed to look cool.....so i got a vison of a sweet metric cruiser...

so paint was first...went with black with silver flames, to match my oldschool taste...

nice, how'd you do your mufflers? I got an old cutoff set of headers and hacked more off, then fitted some harley piping around the inside baffle and clamped the slip-ons on that...

                    how's the sound?

just took them off the harley, fabbed up a bracket, bolted it on, and welded it up to the stock pipe. sounds lots deeper, and not so 250'ish ! lol....

Set that windshield down on the headlight. Sorry but, it looks goofy high mounted.

certainly not my cup of tea, but a nice implementation of the vision you had - good job!
