Old thread, but still it deserves a comment.

I like the performance gains you got from that bike, but the looks are kinda to each his own.

      Clean bike though.

Yeah, just look at that seat. Not much excess material there!

          The heat wrap looks rad.

I agree the heat wrap is way cool. But watch out!
I put some on my race bike and the fricken stuff started to catch fire!
Scared the sh!t out of me:shock: It did look wicked on tape though
So I got the pipes ceramic coated instead no more fires

              header wrap

i have some on my chopper, the only complaint i have with it, is that it stinks when it gets wet, and i used it to hide bad welds.

I actually use it to protect my pipes from roadgrime and what not...Should be changed once a season IMO...or it will rot, and yes it does smell like poo when its wet..lol

Hey, Been awhile since I have been here, and was just looking at some old posts. Anyway, yes, I hammered the tank as well as bent up the sheet metal for the rear tail section and seat pan.

Thanks for all the comments. Bike is doing great. Put about 5000 miles on it last summer with nary a problem. Heat wrap is in great condtion at this point. Looking forward to some warmer weather so I can get it back out.

                  Have a good one,
