      Nice job! Will this work for other gs models? I've got a 550L, and would love to do this conversion. Its probably just build as you go, right?

        The basic premise is the same, so I'm sure a lot of the steps would be very similar. Things like the actual measurements would probably not carry over except maybe for the larger framed GS's...

                      How sweet! That looks really good with those front forks. You did very well taking a fabricator's vision and spelling it out in layman's terms (the pics helped a lot as well). The fish-mouths on the lower shock crossmember look nice. Did you do them yourself?

                      I'm in a Jeep club and get to see a lot of fabrication take place. So I can appreciate the labor you put into that. Good job, dude!
