    lowering shaft drive bikes

    Hello everyone,

So what is the best way to lower a shaft drive cycle? I have an 82 GS850G. I want to lower it both front and back. What are some options?

    Thanks.

It was easy. I just bought shorter springs and you can drop the fork tubes in the triples to lower the front. Its stiffer but rides so much better. I'll look for the springs I bought onlint and put a link up later.

go here http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm and click on chassis in the left hand column menu, then click on suspension parts and rear shocks. There's a bunch of stuff on that page, but I have the 325mm chrome spring shocks for the Suzuki and they work great.
