Wonder how he did this?
I saw this listing on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Suzuk...QQcmdZViewItem and was wondering if any of you guys had an idea of how he did the handlebars

I doubt they're that flimsy. Any local machine shop can fab risers like that. You just need something that clamps to the bars and a cross bar that goes into the upper clamp. I used to have some similar risers that looked like a factory suzuki piece. I have no idea where they are now though.
I think its a pretty cool idea and may try to make some more.Last edited by Guest; 10-08-2007, 01:09 PM.

something like those are not hard to fabricate at all. they are cut in one dimention, and drilled and tapped.
Use a program like solid edge, Auto Cad, Solid Works, Inventor.. or any other modeling program to make a draft

Oh haha, that could be an issue. You can take drafts to machine shops though to have a proto made.

There are lots of manuals out there for solid works. see if you can find one in a bookstore from a technical school or collage. most universities are using either auto cad 2000 or solid edge V19.
