Thanks BG! I was pretty happy with the tailpiece. Total luck out there. I just searched yesterday on fleabay and found nothing. Really cant afford even that right now, but hell you have to jump on stuff like that! Now i just have to figure out a mounting system. Im thinkin alu plate cut to ride on the frame, just not sure how to secure the tailpiece to that. I guess mayhaps a couple of flush bolts? Hell worse comes to worse, that supervelcro has worked pretty good for my current makeshift seat.

Dude I think I found another little gizmo to waste money on, the bike is gonna be sad hehehe. I was checking out my girlfriend's Ipod Touch and all I can say is DAMN that thing is BADass. Its so cool. I think I can honestly justify dropping $400 bucks on one. As a matter of fact its so cool it can surf the web via a wifi connection. I was checking out this thread earlier on it. I now know why Casino Joe posts 'Sent from my Iphone' after the posts where he did just that. The satisfaction that comes from it is awesomeComment

Riot--Ipod would be sweet! You should see this sweet lil Garmin elkyfan got for Xmas. Small and wireless, could mount it about anywhere on a bike. I think im gonna have to get me one for these rally rides this summer.

My girlfriend called me from work a couple days before her christmas break to tell me that her boss just gave her a Zune as a present. She also gave her all the extra cables, docking station, car charger, etc.
The thing is, she has a fairly new ipod. I still have a first generation ipod (the one with the firewire port on top) that just finally gave up the ghost. So she asked me if I wanted it.
Now, before this turns into a microsoft vs. apple vs. all other players thing, let me say that I like the zune, but I also like the ipod (although I was leaning towards buying a zune in the new year). There are strengths and weaknesses in all the players I have looked at. And a free player and extras that would otherwise cost roughly $300 is hard to argue with.
So I gave a resounding 'Hell Yes I'll Take That Player'.

To be honest, this isn't my first brush with pink technology.
Two years ago my business partner and I were upgrading our phones. We were going with the Razrs. While we were going through the inevitable hour in the Verizon waiting room he dared me to get the pink phone. Verizon's pink phone isn't quite as bright as t-mobile's, it's more of an anodized finish. Anyway, this kind of turned into some typical male roostering, and I declared that I was definitely man enough to carry around a pink phone. I had begun to dig a little bit of a hole for myself. When it was finally our turn I found a loophole, they didn't have the v3m model (the music phone) in pink, so unfortunately I had to get gray.
Anyway, a close shave, or so I had thought.
About two weeks later I was having afternoon drinks with a couple gals I know, and I noticed one of the broads had the pink phone. I told them the story, one thing led to another, and we swapped battery covers. And then I didn't see this girl again for about a year, which by then my old cover was long gone.
So I still have a pink battery cover, and I will probably continue to until two weeks from now, when I will be getting a new phone. At least it hasn't been that noticeable, and it has definitely helped us quickly distinguish my phone from his on the days we work together.Comment
