Ive got a 4into2 off an 80, its a stock system and i dunno if it will match up, but you pay shipping and you're welcome to it. Dunno if you can make something out of it or not. They say they dont make the VH header for our pre 80 750s anymore but if you visit the Vance and Hines website they still list it, and i jut bought a baffle for it.

You tried ITS?? They have been getting good reviews on here from people who need titles for their bikes.

hmm. I have a kerker that got a yoshi pipe welded to it. no matter what I do I'll end up wanting a 4-1 and then weld on some sort of other muffler , whether it's the stock can off my 450 or another yosh pipe.

oh and i'll ship your lights out tomorrow

I tried calling them to tell them my situation and to ask if I'd need to get chp inspected afterwards or not. and they were busy all day long tues and when i tried again on wed they were busy again.

I don't wanna shell out the cash just to hear i;m still gonna have to get inspected by chp and then be screwed when there's no vin on my frame.

How much of a PITA was that light to wire up?

No i dont think the stock 4into2 comes apart..aside from the crossover pipes. What about some header wrap to clean it up some? Just a thought. Im sure you should be able to sort that out..as Snowbeard, i think he recently dealt with ITS and i dont think that he had to have it inspected. Different laws in different states, but i think they send you a tagable title in which case there is no inspection involved, at least here.

now by tagable title? that means?

if it's an out of state title then it will need to be inspected. if they can get it titled in ca FOR ME then i'm good to go.

for the headlight it still uses h4 bulbs so there's that plug , and if you want to run a city light that they have for you then just run it into ground and then switched on.

Tagable...meaning its as good as the real title...from what ive read about it, they get a letter of title from a state that doesnt title vehicles our age. Then they send you a letter to show the DMV that explains what the letter of title is..thus rendering it completely legal.

                          Now...wtf is a city light?

And on top of that there are guys over in the Do The Ton forum im in that have Honda SOHC4s that early on had no VIN plate on them...and they get tags and plates all the time.

a city light is like a parking light. it's on these headlights. now you KNOW these don't have hids when I send them to you. lol. but they can fit hids and will have a nicely focused beam.

hmm. if they don't actually register it in cali I will be screwed. if it's titled in another state first or if it just says it's a-ok i'm gonna seriously doubt it'll work WITHOUT getting inspected by senor chp.

I will try getting ahold of them again.

i'm also seriously looking into the whole lien thing as my buddy owns a shop and will lien sell it to me for his costs. (like 100 bucks worth of paperwork)

true but if a bike never had one then it's cool , if the bike was supposed then uh oh. I wanna say like 1970 for bikes. but it may be earlier or later than that. i know at the latest it's 74.
