Would you believe that Nissan's quality reports outrank Toyota? I did believe it either but they do. Nissan's really steped up their game
And it ISN'T RWD????? Bah that's not cool. You can't do a cool burn out in FWD...... Reread your post. The car has gone back to being cool again lol

if nissan beats toyota I think they're the ones paying someone off.
like I said earlier of all he midsize cars we test drove it was the most expensive , loudest interior , loudest engine note and no not in a sexy kind of way , rode like garbage , and had a semi-cheap interior.
every car except the dodge avenger was better than the altima. and we're talking the new "improved" redesigned 2008 altima.

trust you can do amazing burnouts in fwd. in all fwd drag cars they can't get enough traction to save their life and are burning out more than half way down the quarter mile

I've driven a Nissian and I don't know what car you were test driving (maybe it was a Toyota and you were mistaken ) That thing rode smooth at hell the engine pulled with NO NOISE and it was also very smooth. Had a pretty wide power band. Didn't pay much attention to the interior though. But it was nice. Not to mention all this driving was done with the radio off

and also keep in mind the Altima is still nearly entry level for Nissan. You want the good ones...go to a Maxima, or obviously the Z, or if you want REALLY nice then go to the G35. Infinity/Nissan...same thing..

You really want to get down to it I've seen guys with V8 burn rubber the ENTIRE length of the drag strip. And more impressive than that. These same guys have figured out how to lock 8000 horsepower to the ground with no burn out at all. I think your little import drag racers just don't know what they're doing

and the thing cost more than EVERY other base v6 model of each and every one of it's competitors.
it was THE loudest and lest composed on road.

You sure bout that??? That seems a lil silly. I would think the Maxima would be in there with Accord, with the Altima being the Civic,

The thing is a big block makes 500 horse EASY. **** small blocks can do it pretty easy too. BB's are capable of making 1000 without too much of a sweat. But alot of the times there's no reason for THAT much power.
And I gaurantee the amount of money it takes to make 500 horsepower in an import compared to how much money it takes to make 500 horsepower in a BB will make you cry

and some of them get no burn and all traction as well depending upon the class.
i'm saying on street tires a 400-600 hp fwd car will do a longer burnout than most 400-600 hp rwd cars . at least of the ones i've seen and driven in person.
but each car is different as well , the suspension components , width of tire , boost or no boost , higher hp or more torque.
