Pics man!! BTW i got your package today thanks!! And incidentaly, from the looks of the tach cable, when you get around to adjusting the valves, id recommend changing the orings in your tach drive assembly, it's leaking oil..just a heads up!

When I wrapped a set of headers on one of my Lotus 7 replica's I used solid core copper wire that I stripped out of electric mains cable (what we call "twin & earth" in the UK).
You can wrap it round the pipe once or twice, twist the ends to tighten it down, ct off the excess & fold the twist back flat. Really unobtrusive & being copper it doesn't rust.
Just another option. I agree clamps work just as well.

You need the thick stuff, even the earth wire which was thinner was subject to breaking.
This should be the stuff. Think the copper core is 2.5mm. Sounds about right from memory. You must have a US equivalent. The cables should be thicker here with the lower voltages.
