Lisence Plate mounting
Hey I was wondering if there are any brackets made specifically for mounting the plate on your swingarm, or if its all fabrication. I have a cafe and open to suggestions as far as mounting. Thanks in advance for the input.Tags: None

Not sure about over there but here in the uk theres a few side mount plate mounts on sale in the custom parts suppliers most come complete with light. some mount to the wheel spindle & some need a little fabrication to fit
hope it helps :-D

It's not hard to bend up some steel and drill the holes. I made a VERY simply bracket holding my plate from the top shock mount bolt. Needs a light, though I haven't had a single cop bother me about it yet.

There she be. I've fixed to wiring since then and wrapped my pipes. Also, my covers (stator, crankcase, etc.) are all black and I went with some LED stalk signals. Now I just can't figure out where in the hell to mount the plate.

My mom would hate it (if she were still alive) I like it - LOUD ?
Not sure where to put the plate. Does it have a rear light (brake)?
Is it leagle to mount it on it's side up close to the spring ?85 1150E

She looks nice to me just saying. But forget a plate.
How is that seat working for you?
Just an idea "temperpedic" the bed makers will send you a "free" sample if you call them. Call 3 or 4 times and BOOM one "free" seat!
Really Nice bike!

As I said, so far so good, and I never intended this to be a travel bike. From my house to the motorpool I work at is 4 miles round trip. It's more just something to tinker and learn on. Thanks for the compliments from everyone. I know my style is a bit of an acquired taste.

Man that thing looks wicked. what kind of shocks/springs are those in the back? Those are the exact style I'm lookin for. I wish I could mod my tank but man there is no way I'd be able to work up the balls to hit it with a hammer. I wish I could find an extra tank at a junkyard to practice on but no such luck.

I would love to see what I could swap. The tank looks very similar as far as mounting same with the shocks.
