    Double headlight?

Hey Guys, do you have any good sources where I can get a set of double headlights for my kat? I love the look, no fairing standalone lights.

I've ordered some other stuff from these folks and was happy with the service, low shipping costs, and the product quality. They're based in Illinois.

They seem to have pretty good prices on the headlight stuff, plus some groovy looking flyscreens. They also have some wicked-looking streetfighter headlight fairings.

If you plan on running both of them on at the same time, you need to be very careful about the wattage of each light. Your charging system would struggle to handle 60+ additional watts consumption.

I would recommend running with just one on and having the second hooked up on a secondary switch - or just on the high-beam circuit.

Why would you want to do that to a Kat, when there are tons of "L"s available for that?

Life is too short to ride an L.

Those round lights would look great on a Kat. I can't wait to see the pictures of this product.

Again I must say - IMHO.

A rock put a nice bullseye on the headlamp of the wife's T, maybe I will get some and put them on it.

bwringer, thanks for the link, they've got exactly what I need.

I'm gonna go for this look because the way a kat is built requires it to look headstrong. With no fairing a Kat looks alittle anemic with a single light.

Also to help fill the front pose I'm putting mini gauges on each side of her attached to the bike frame under the bars where the fairing frame attached, even height-wise to the cam end covers. I thinks this look will rock.

As for those that like originality, I understand. I've got everything I need to make her original overnight if I need to, including the suzy decals, but except the paint.

KRISTI'S550, I promise I'll ut up some pics before the headlight and guages and after the install.

edit: apparently the forum doesn't like the dir I put the picture in

it's in http://lolinter.net/randomsh it/headlightsfxt.jpg copy/paste that and then remove the space

1985 GS700E, the tail isn't stock though and it doesn't have any gauges on it right now
                        edit: aka GSX750E I guess

in prolly a week it's getting new wheels as well, just 1990 GSXF600 "Katana" stuff for now because I can't afford a GSXR front end swap (which is what I'd really like to do... but modern radials will still be a huge improvement over the stock stuff)

Please don't do this to a Kat -- I beg of you!

You could also use lights off the triumph speed triple. Personally, I like the look, and its not like he's hacking up the frame or anything.
