Wiring to remove indicator panel?
I've just finished getting a GSXR front end on my 1980 GS1100e and I want to lose the instrument panel, but I'm pretty bad at reading wire diagrams. Can anyone help me out as far as which wires I need to connect where to bypass the indicator panel?Tags: None

You don't need to do anything. Just leave the indicator panel connector unplugged. Make sure you have the ignition switch, blinkers, headlight, etc connected.

Even for the check panel that lets yo know if your brake lights or what not aren't working? I'm pretty certain you do have to bypass it...

I didn't have to do that on mine. I'm using Bandit 400 gauges and the only idiot lights I have are neutral, turn signal, and oil pressure. My brake light works fine for both front and rear brakes.

Weird, I wonder if yours is set up differently. My switches run straight to the panel. Without those plugged in, they lights wont work.
