You can get it at autobody paint supply stores. Make sure you ask for wet/dry paper.

I thought I was just catching up with YOU! Don't you already have an 1100 swingarm on yours?

This will be all I have left. Got the temp gauge installed awhile back, then swingarm and new pipe... and I'm done with the Skunk.... oh, except I'll be getting it repainted next winter. :-D

I've got to get going on the other 1000 project. I'm WAY behind on that one.

Got the swingarm installed today. Here it is with the 1100 chainguard:

              and the other side:

The chain adjusters look weak up against the swingarm... I think I'll have them chromed, just for 8track. :-D

The bike is filthy. I'm going to scrub her down, especially the front of the motor, and get the pipes on. Then a complete wash and detail, and she's ready for the season! Just in time, too. It's finally getting nice around here!\\/

Yeah, she's a real pig, completely filthy.

That bike is cleaner than my tools on their best day. I like the look of the aluminum peaking out below the chain guard. Ever think about running with no guard?
1981 GS650G , all the bike you need

No guard? No, I never thought of that. Do you think it would look good that way?

Do they make chrome chains?

I envy your work Bruce!!! Very nice. I love the polished look; I just don't love having to do it every two weeks because of the salt air. Be thankful for your climate!

Don't do it. It's messy. Get one off a early 1100L. They were chrome and should bolt right up.
