    Getting rid of a lunchbox.

Some might want to know how to make an 80 750e look like a real motorcycle instead of a Jeep light inside a bit of plastic. I am hoping I could attach the pic., but if not I will explain what to do. And I can't have photobucket at work... so sorry.
Get yourself some circle gauges. I scored mine of a forum member. Get the mounting from the triple to come with it, because E mounts are different, but should (check first) mount onto the triple. Mine were from an 83 850 L. Then a circle headlight. I am a 7" kind of guy. (Insert joke here) You may need to get aftermarket fork ears from somewhere like Z1. They are $9 and are not the greatest, but they work. Pull the old fork ears, and wire everything up and wallah! The wiring may be different so prepare to look trhough your diagram and make matches, but it only took me about an hour.

    Looks like a bike.

Oh and clubmans, "upside down" are incredibly comfrotable.

Not QUITE L-ification. They only had squah headlights for TWO years i believe, and then it was back to the roundies. Personally, not a fan of the squah headlight, but to each his own.

          Thanks for clearing that up...TCK

Not a fan of the L. Had one. Too much backwards lean and the shaft was nice for maintainence etc, but the gearing left something to be desired. Oh and the tank was SMALL.

However- a 7 inch headlight and round gauges are where it's at. Personal preference.

TCK I think you were the one who had once said clubman's "upside down"= very comfy. Couldn't agree more.

You can use the stock ears that hold the square headlight, they are black and you need to drill a hole to mount the signals to, but they work and you don't ahve to put anything on or take anything off the forks.
