    First look at the finished cafe gs550E

    This is the first photos I have posted from my 80 gs550E cafe project bike and I think that i have done a good job so far.

                  I think its there...

                  That shadow effect between the white and the red on the tank is pretty sweet, although from the pics I cannot tell if it is intentional as it looks like it doesn't follow the whole curve.

                  How'd you do that?

                    The tank is actually recessed about 1/8th of an inch along the white line.
                    The metal fab guy did a great job with it.

                      I really like your work. The style is awesome. I was just putting together a Radio Flyer tricycle for my 3 year old today and looking at the paint scheme and thinking red and white would look cool on a bike as long as the styling could match it. You pulled it off well.
                      What did you paint the wheels with? They look cool!
