Ok, after I got my stock exhaust off last night prepping for installing my new 4 into 1 today, I noticed that now on the offside of the bike (where there will no longer be a pipe) a huge frame section that now serves no purpose other than holding the passenger peg. I do need to retain those pegs, so I'll want to relocate them somewhere, but that huge triangular frame section has to go. Assuming I'll want to install a new brace of some kind there as well. Anybody done a mod like this? I'll post pictures tomorrow so you can see a little better what I'm talking about.

i know what your talking about but ive never seen it removed...
it is useless if you dont want rear pegs..
to make the bike more balanced i would cut both sides off and make custom mounts for both pegs and one for the muffler.... -
The later bikes use a cast aluminum plate to hold the pegs. Maybe borrow this concept in some way?Ed

I threw around the idea of cutting off the frame pieces that hold that stuff as well.
Would be pretty simple to adapt some e model brackets.Comment

Yep, that's the look Beergood. Only thing for me, I have a girlfriend who loves to ride, so I have to retain some kind of a passenger peg. Bigger fish to fry have come up at the moment (new head), but after that gonna look at some mods to get rid of them and make a different mount for pegs.Comment
