Cafe bars
I am new to the forum, but have found it helpful with my recent project (1981 GS550). I pulled it from a barn for free after a long 10 year storage. I went through the electricals, rebuilt the starter and cleaned the carbs. Now, it runs great and I would like to have it on the road. My style is more of the retro cafe look or modern street fighter (currently I ride a Triumph Speed four). I plan on eliminating the rear fender and fabbing a fiberglass seat pan and cowl (I have seen several on this sight that completely change the attitude of the bike). My question is concerning clubman style bars, I have seen several while shopping the web but I am not 100% sure on how to measure for them. Does anyone have a part # that they have used or know what may fit my bike? I am trying to keep this budget minded and usually turn to BikeBandit or the Old Bike Barn sites (always seem to have what I need). Any help would be appreciatedTags: None

I bought my clubmans off ebay. It only took a few clicks to realize they were all the same measurements. Ordered them and had them 4 days later. (WI to KY)

You know, I have that name on a few other boards and you're the first person to get it or at least make a mention of it. Great name for a dog...haha.
