You scuffed that muffler? Were you on your ear?

Thst is one funky 1150. Not in my taste, but it definitely looks to be well thought out and executed. Kind of reminds me of a V Max.

Here's mine. '79 GS750. Has the wiseco kit and andrews s2 cams. Almost done, I'm having a little trouble choosing a seat that will flow with the 1100 tank. In the background you can see the other 79 I'm working on.

I gotta ask, is the shaftie tube part of the bobber set-up?
Is it really strong enough to do that reliably and aren't they set-up to be able to move?
How did you make it solid?

I grew up around bikes of all styles, to each there own.

This is my old GS1000ET, it has too many mods to list......
I couldn't afford to get it road legal but luckily it went to a good home.

                      soften the clutch

use a progressive nitrous controller -triggered by the clutch lever * 20% up to 100% in 4 or 5 seconds *

don't use nitrous in 1st gear

lower the tire pressure in the rear tire

                      lower your gear ratio

a stock pizza cutter will hook with the right combination.

I'm with dorkburger! I'm slowly customizing my GS850G and haven't seen close-ups or a good side view with that style of seat. Looks like a nice bike!

                                1983 GS1100E Parts Bike

Here's my'83 GS1100e resto-mod. I just got done shining her up with some Turtle Wax Ice and polished up the metal bits. If you look closely, on one of the arm rest ofthe chairs in the background is glass of post-cleaning-muscle-relieving tequila.

My mods included; ’93 GSXR-1100 forks, brake calipers, and rims, 90ish Bandit 1200swing arm, ’90 GSXR-750 modified cowl, Wisco 1166 pistons, jetted carbs and KN Pods, MotoGP Werks header and mid-pipe, and a SuperTrapp slip-on exhaust can.

This is my weekend morning(s) therapy exercise bike. I find a 100-mile dosage works best for me.
