Here it is Paddy. Don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for or not, but here it is anyway.

In retrospect, I should have cut them (or at least the speedo) a little closer to the bezel. I kind of went too close to the trip reset knob. Didn't realize until it was too late. You can see this in the second picture pretty well.

Hi guys, not much of an update, but just keeping you in the loop. I've been away since last Thursday. I called John today, and he said they had a major computer meltdown which they're hoping to have sorted out by today. My apologies for this taking so long. I won't give up. I'll be all over him like a fat kid on a smartie.

Cutting the gauge apart is unnecessary, just use a screwdriver and bend back the bezel where it's crimped over. Far less intrusive to the gauge. I've done several gauges using this method and it's very easy as long as you take a little care.

I would like fuel gauge, speedo, tach, and oil temp gauge the same.

I'll PM you with photo of my gauges. Thanks again for coming up with such a great idea/product. Just PM me to advise the total due to send to you via PayPal (if that is your preferred method of payment.)
(Later) Also, since I have a GS750, I would want the 1000 changed to 750 if possible (or just delete it entirely if not.)

Sorry I've not sent the jpeg or PM for PayPal info. Will do so tonight (after I sign up for photobucket to post gauge face pix. Not used to going through such a round-a-bout method to send pix as I'm a photographer and just usually send jpegs or PDF files directly to clients - lol. It's all good though, and I'll get jpeg to you.

Not visible. Just pry gently so as to not distort the bezel too much. Use a small hammer and drift punch to close the bezel back down.

I did an 850 last night and it took me about 30 min. total to open and close back down. 450 gauge shown below was harder to bend the bezel but results were the same (screw came loose in this gauge and the glass was cloudy before I opened it).

Agemax and the rest of 1st order folks. I talked to John today. Looks like the file I gave in CAD format is too complex for Adobe Illustrator to understand correctly, it opens, but text is kinda wonky. A friend of mine has Illustrator, so I will be working feverishly tonight to make everything right. We should be next in line at the laser when this is all done. Again, sorry for taking so long. Between my holidays and being busy at work, this hasn't gone as fast and smoothly as I had really hoped it would. You WILL get them. I can understand getting itchy to see them, I'm getting itchy too. Kinda frustrated with how long it's taken myself, as I don't like holding up progressof the good GS folk.

                              rudy,

"down under" we have a very strong uv light from the sun and things left outdoors can deteriorate/fade rather quickly if not protected adequately

with that in view i'm wondering if the materials used for these gauge faces would be uv-stabilised materials, if you know
