Try looking at the JC Whitney website, and Dennis Kirk site. Both sell Maier brand windshields, think they also do a belly pan. Ya gotta check...we are all out of instant gratification this morning.

Don't say can't, as anything is possible with time and effort, but, if you don't have time things get tougher and require more effort.

I've got 2 belly pans off of a GS1150 but have no need for them.
Anybody want them, let me know and I can get pics.
                    You just pay shipping.

i used the bottom front engine mounts with spacers made up so the bolts can still be done up tight. the rear ones are rubber mounted plumbing brackets on the frame tubes, works a treat and you cant see them

Is there any way you could post some pictures to show how you mounted it, your way sounds much simpler than what I've been thinking through.

My way would three point in the front with it mounting to the "U" bolt on the crank case protectors and have some elaborate bends and angles that I have not yet figured out how to mock up yet and the back would pick up the aft mount.

may be a bit tricky if you have crankcase protectors. post a pic of the front of your engine
