I really dislike the bars on mine, stock I guess. I think the Daytona bars would be the best.

These are Daytona Bars, I tried the Euro bars but the wider L cluster put the M/C into the tach and they would not work.

        Gen 1 FZ1 Bars on an 1100ez

These handle bars are from a Generation II, FZ1 (06-07). I think they only came in silver those years. Cost $35.00 from Flatout

I think they look sweet. Only problem for me is they give me a pain in the back after about 90 minutes. They are a little higher and further back than Superbike bars so they may be an option for some. Wish my back liked them more.

Do the Daytona and dragbike bars allow for bar end weights?

Here is my GS 1000 GLX with superbike bars. Obviously, an 850 GLZ would be much the same.

I just found this on the bikemaster superstore site. thought it might be worth posting.

Rise = how high the bars are from top to bottom
Width = end to end measurement
Pullback = how far bars come back toward rider
Center = length of center between first bends

                          Superbike Bars

I have superbike Bars on my '79 GS550. In order to get clearance for the gauges, I decided to take the tach off. Who needs it? I'm not racing the darned thing. Anyway, here are a couple of shots...

These bars work also for cruising around the kitchen.
                              K&N Magna Extra wide, 32" wide, 4 1/2 rise, 6 3/4 pull back.
The ones put on by PO laid on top. Quite a difference.
