Katman hooked me up with this killer sprocket ( for additional $5 they are guranteed for life), goes well with Ohlins.

Is that aluminum with a steel outer ring? Guaranteed for life? How can they do that? It the outer piece removable?

Unfortunately, I have been trying to buy some parts off Katman for a month now. Don't know if he is getting my emails or not but I wish I would hear from him. This is just information for anyone wanting to deal with him.
I'm even in Canada too like he is.

Rob has been having trouble with his ISP, so his emails arent always getting thru. Might try to get a hold of him here..but I have been talking to him on and off for a few weeks now RE parts for my upcoming project...

                    Rob lists his phone number

On his site. He generally answers anytime I call.

Spoke to him night before last for 1/2 hour.

Yes, I believe the steel ring is detachable (and replaceable) from the aluminum hub. Tool steel is used for the teeth, according to info on the net......probably why they should outlast conventional sprockets handily. I did wonder about any negative effect on the chain, from using this much harder grade steel for the sprockets, though.
They do look great, and are said to be substantially lighter than stock too.

                      Tony.
