'81 GS450 New Look - Thoughts?

    IMO, the only two colors that scrambler's should be are yellow and green. That being said, the green looks kickass. I'd say go with the blacked out forks. But don't black out the spokes. Actually they'd probably look pretty nice if you polish them up

      Yeah I was pretty impressed with how that green looks considering I generally have no artistic ability :-)

      I'll definitely be blacking out the forks, but I'm not sold on the wheels yet.

      I think I'll just clean them up as they are to start with, then when I get to the stage I really need to decide, I'll put them on and have a good think.

      I guess if I paint them then change my mind, I can always sand 'em back and polish 'em up again!

      I also will be painting the crank cases and head black, but polishing up the clutch cover, sprocket cover, etc. and hopefully polishing up the side of the fins also. Bit hard to show that in the pic's, so I'll just have to imagine that for myself :-)

        Well, back to work today, so this will be my last mock up with colours... left the wheels polished (use your imagination ok?), and attempted to overlay some wrap on the pipes. Imagination is also required for this :-)
