Hey Joe, I forgot...what did you do for the black on this pipe? Is it holding up well?
    Thanks Bruce,

This pipe is actually the original coating from Vance and Hines, it sat for many years in a box but it was basically a NOS part. It is starting to peel around the exhaust ports as expected, it will need ceramic coating to refurb it at some point

I LOVE that bike! i would keep that in my living room on a stand! If I get around to building my new place, the living room is basically going to be a showroom lounge type setup.

                Hi Mr. jwhelan65,

I just wanted to congratulate you on an excellent project. The bike looks great. I guess Santa didn't bring you a rear shock? I'm sure you are going to enjoy that bike immensely. Well done.

                Happy New Year!

                  Hey Joe,
                  Your bike is amazing.

One small tip, not that you seem to need much help mind you, but if you take off the ignition cover, lay it flat, and pour some black paint into the SUZUKI lettering it really sets off the cover. Don't worry about spilling, just wipe off the excess paint with some thinner.

                  Good luck and enjoy!
                  Ed

Thanks Ed, I will give it a try, been meaning to fill that in for quite some time kind of the last little detail to do. Had it out today for a little spin...still my favorite bike in the garage to ride hands down.
