Good to hear yur still at it man. I've said it before, you got some serious fab skills. Can't wait to see some progress pics. Just for ****s and giggles, what would you charge to hardtail my GS750 frame using the stock axle plates like you did yours and stretch the downtubes 3"? PM me the details, lotta miles between us, but maybe we could work somethin out?

That sound like alot of work to make the frame taller in the front. The way our frames are designed with the amount of tubes, it would be easier and look cleaner just to build a single backbone frame. Probably about $500.Originally posted by po-boy View PostGood to hear yur still at it man. I've said it before, you got some serious fab skills. Can't wait to see some progress pics. I don't know where you guys live, but I get frames powder coated in Denver for far less than $300 - it's in the $120-150 region.

I wish, I am thinking of building an oven big enough for frames and doing it myself. I found some plans online somewhere to do this.Originally posted by reddirtrider View PostI don't know where you guys live, but I get frames powder coated in Denver for far less than $300 - it's in the $120-150 region.

Finally some new pictures of the few things I have gotten done. I had to modify the kickstand because of the exhaust. Made a little accent piece for better access to the stand and welded a stop to keep the stand from hitting the pipe.

Got the frame painted in my makeshift paint booth, it works. Paint is VHT rollbar and chassis paint, spraybomb for this nobudget project. Looks good, and seems to be pretty durable. I have dinged it and the paint didn't chip.
