Polishing 92 gsxr front forks?

What's up Gang?

Has anyone with the gsxr front end set up ever polished your forks? If so please let me know what materials and tools I would need.

There is a different polishing thread at least once a week. A member here has a polishing business and has posted lots of good advice. Try the search function to uncover LOTS of appropriate information.

The 92 gsxr forks have lots of ridges & machine marks in them so if you are after a perfect polished finish be carefull you dont got too far & make the forks undersized for the yokes EG do the minimum work to get the shine

If your forks have alot of casting marks or factory brush lines, you'll need to start with greaseless compound #240 grit, then #400, found here: http://www.caswellplating.com

If you need any tips, just pm me, and i'll be glad to guide you. Don't worry so much about the yoke clearance, it's an easy and invisible remedy after polishing.
