    Hole smokes.

    I usually save motorcycle photos (that I like) in a folder that is used as a slideshow for my screensaver. That's the first time I've ever 'right clicked' a carb photo.

          Pretty good. I painted a test part before doing my black ones. I rubbed some gas and brake fluid on the part, and nothing came off. I didn't soak the part, so I'm not sure how well it will stand up to constant contact with gas. But it's usually the bowls that get soaked, and they are just polished.

          Oh and also, my fee went up. To do a set like these, I would need to charge 200. This process is very time intensive to do it right. The bowls on the VM's are a real biatch... lots of nicks and crannys to sand and polish. Considering I charge 40 hr. for mechanical, $200 is still cheap. I'm probably in these carbs with rebuild about 10 hrs.

          I cant wait to see them installed and hear them run!! I think I'm doomed at the next Dynodrags!

                You'll get a chance to "hear" 'em in June on the return trip from Utah. And I guess I'll definately be planning another visit in September for the dyno-drags!

                            Those carbs look great, but I think I see a spec of dust on one of them.

                            If I wasn't going for the original look on the 750 I'd seriously consider painting the bodies on this bike after looking at what you've done.
