    starter moter cover!

    had a bad chrome one, didn't like it. sprayed it black, didn't like it. thought about a new chrome one but then what the hell, if i am gonna buy a new one then why not experiment...........
    opinions welcome, good or bad, i am quite liking it actually, it is growing on me
    1978 GS1085.

    You could paint it silver ( alluminum ) to match the case.

    Or anodize blue paint to match the work you already done.

      Honestly..I think it looks awesome! I may try it with my 700es...Where did you get the colored hardware?

            sorry mate, yes they are blue. got them from a company called probolt here in the uk

              it looks to match the body work,no. If it's white also I dig it. Did mine the same red as my tank and fender. Just seems to tie things together a bit more.

                Why didn't you paint it pink to match those famous slippers

                (After you put that vid of your other half sitting on your bike you're only gonna get silly responses from me).

                Looks good. I've done a couple of these in colour (1 yellow and 1 blue, both to match the rest of the bodywork - worked well) and others in black (which I also liked) or silver (which I didn't really like - looked as if I was covering bad chrome).

                  haha cheers mate, i really like it now, its grown on me, dont know why i didnt think of it before.

                  leave out the fluffy pink slippers remarks please, its gone to her head lol, she thinks she is famous now hehe

                              I take it you don't ride in the rain. That is a very clean motorcycle. I wish I felt the motivation to keep my bikes that clean.
