    Aluminator ??

I originally posted this in the "Tech. Info" section of the forums but had zero replies so I figured I'd re-post it here and see if I have any better luck. Either that or no one on here has ever had any experience with this stuff ?

I read about this stuff in one of the bike mags I get (I forget which one) and decided to check them out.

After reading another post on here about rust removal from gas tanks I noticed that this is the same company that produces/sells Evapo-Rust.

Has anyone here used the Aluminator? If so, what results did you have?

    Thanks,

i bought a quart of it a while back and found it was a waist of $$ it does clean but it takes forever and leaves the finish dull (etched looking) not al all like they say it will bring back the original finish.... its good for cylinder fins and that's about it. this stuff http://www.flitz-polish.com/Flitz-Po...arnish-Remover works faster and leaves a shine right off the bat and requires minimal polishing. all there products are pretty good i have found.

Thanks for the reply, my wife was telling me to "just go ahead and order the Aluminator, it isn't that much" but I knew I'd get the best info here
